Job Summary:
We're hiring a Database Engineer to develop efficient databases using Microsoft SQL Server tools. Responsibilities include database maintenance, integrity, and performance optimization. Experience with AWS Power BI and ETL is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server
- Analyze SQL queries for performance improvements
- Ensure database integrity, security, and recovery
- Assist in ETL processes and have AWS Power BI experience
- Create and enhance databases, and manage database installations
- Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
- Conduct regular reviews for performance and troubleshoot issues
Database Engineer Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain accurate relational databases
- Generate reports through SQL queries
- Assist in data migration from other systems
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 2-4 years of database development experience, ETL preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access and SQL Server
- Experience with setting up applications and databases
- Onsite role in Lahore, working hours: 3:00 PM- 12:00 AM
