Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Consultancy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing financial records accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Accounting Team: Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and conducting performance reviews.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor variances and provide explanations as needed.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Review aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Bank Reconciliations: Manage bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and account balances.
- Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, including gathering supporting documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams to achieve performance goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and objectives to provide customized solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices within the department.
Requirements:
- CA Qualified/ Finalists
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, in a reputable accounting/auditing firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP; advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
